Here is my list of top five overpowered characters in Anime, Manga and Light novels, please comment on what you think about them: oh BTW there is no ONE PUNCH MAN here :P

Touya Mochizuki - In Another World with My Smartphone

Fifteen-year-old Touya Mochizuki is accidentally killed by God. As an apology, God allows him to be resurrected, but since he cannot send him back to his old world, he instead reincarnates him into a fantasy world along with a single special request. Touya uses his request in order to bring his smartphone into the new world with him, which God modifies. As such, while Touya cannot contact his old world with it, the phone can be easily recharged by magic and can otherwise function such as accessing data from the old world and can use relevant features for his new world such as the GPS function to locations which are comprehensively identified on it.
God also greatly amplifies Touya's physical, magical, and cognitive abilities to a certain degree as a further apology for the inconvenience of killing him. Taking full advantage of his second chance at life, Touya befriends many different people, mainly females and high-ranking people in the new world. He begins to travel from country to country, solving political disputes, minor quests, and nonchalantly enjoying himself with his newfound allies.

Rimuru Tempest- That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

A human on Earth who was reincarnated as a powerful Slime due to certain requests he made as he died. He has the skill Devour (Predator in the anime), which allows him to eat almost anything and obtain skills and items from the devoured object. He can even mimic the appearance of any item he has devoured. After the defeat of Orc Lord, he established Tempest (Jura Tempest Federation in the anime), a nation of monsters in Great Forest of Jura that seeks co-existence of monsters with other living races.

Tatsuya Shiba - The Irregular at Magic High School

Tatsuya and Miyuki are siblings of the same school year and children to Tatsurou Shiba and the late Miya Yotsuba;LN 3.2 their parents had a loveless forced marriage, and when their mother died, their father married his mistress, Sayuri Furuha, leaving the siblings to live by themselves.LN 6.2 Maya Yotsuba, their aunt and the current leader of the Yotsuba Clan, was the reason Tatsuya was born with the unique magic to decompose, reconstruct, and detonate matter.LN 16.6 Out of fear of his powers, the Yotsuba Clan leadership of that time argued for Tatsuya's death, forcing Miya and Maya to take measures to ensure his survival: the first was Miyuki's creation who would act as a seal to Tatsuya's power; the second was to magically dull Tatsuya's emotions except for his familial love towards Miyuki; and the third was to assign Tatsuya to be Miyuki's bodyguard in order to develop his sense of loyalty towards her.LN 16.6 During a family vacation in Okinawa, Tatsuya warded off an invasion by the Great Asian Alliance and joined the 101 Independent Magic-Equipped Battalion which is headed by Major Kazama Harunobu.LN 8.7 At some point during his life Tatsuya developed an interest in engineering magical technology and commercialized revolutionary technology through his family's company, Four Leaves Technology, under the pseudonymous identity Taurus Silver.LN 3.2 He is voiced by Yuichi Nakamura.[2]
Miyuki is considered one of the strongest magicians in the world and is a candidate to succeed her Aunt Maya as the leader of the Yotsuba Clan. Her specialty is freezing magic, and her unique magic allows her to freeze a person's consciousness. In addition, half of her magic casting ability is used to seal Tatsuya's powers. Before the family vacation in Okinawa, Miyuki treated Tatsuya coldly akin to how the other Yotsuba Clan members did. She began to warm up to him and when Tatsuya saved her life, she devoted her entire existence to him. It evolved to the point where she disdains the touch of other males and expresses jealousy towards females around Tatsuya.LN 11.15 Genetically different from Tatsuya despite being born from the same parents, Miyuki professes her love to him following their engagement under Maya's orders.LN 16.6 She is voiced by Saori Hayami.[2]

Ainz Ooal Gown - Overlord


The protagonist/main character and the only remaining member of the guild, Ainz Ooal Gown. Originally he was a simple salaryman playing a VR online game, but after he was transported to the New World, he decides to make himself a legend in hopes of finding his old guildmates. To facilitate his search, he changes his name from Momonga to Ainz Ooal Gown. While Ainz initially accidentally set Nazarick on a course for world domination after a comment he made was misinterpreted, he slowly grows into his role as a leader after deciding to create a kingdom where humans and non-humans are equal. As he has the form of a lich, he doesn't need to eat or sleep, can't be poisoned or killed by conventional means, but also has his emotions and empathy suppressed. Because of his formerly high level in Yggdrasil, he can easily overpower even the strongest of magic casters in the New World; and while he lacks the skills of natural warriors, he compensates for it with raw strength. Over time, he has learnt how to improve fighting with physical weapons, but his greatest asset remains his strength. Ainz also has access to a wide variety of instant death and summoning spells which, though ineffective against fellow players, work very well against the inhabitants of the New World. He also has an array of items he purchased with real money back in Yggdrasil, which give him abilities ranging from summoning extremely high level items (most of which belong to his guildmates) from the Guild's bank to instantly casting a spell that usually has a long casting time. When Ainz travels as an adventurer, he uses the alias "Momon" which later becomes "Momon the Dark Hero". In the CD drama #2, his real name is revealed to be Satoru Suzuki.

Satou AKA Ichirou Suzuki- Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody


Ichirou is a 29-year old game programmer who is transferred to another world; but his age regressed to a 15-year old. He was given the name "Satoo" based on the test character he created; using all of the three special Meteor Shower items in his possession, Satou wiped out a massive hostile force composed of high-level lizardmen enemies, rising from level 1 to 310 instantly and earning the ability to upgrade numerous skills to max level at his own discretion, along with a huge amount of valuables and money. He hides his level upon arriving in Seiryuu and acquiring new documents. Since then he explores the world, enjoying his journey while trying to get a hold of his current situation. He arms himself in public with pistols and short swords. But uses the highest level weapons in his disguises.
